CANNA INFUSED PUMPKIN SPICED LATTE
This recipe is the craftsmanship of one of the most renowned bloggers, nutritionists and dieticians, Emily Kyle. For the Canna-infused spiced pumpkin latte, you will need:
- 2 cups unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup pure pumpkin puree
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ½ cup boiling water
- 1 tsp instant espresso powder
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp coconut sugar
- 30 drops of Canna Hemp™ Natural CBD oil
- Dairy-free or regular whipped cream
Place a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat and add in the vanilla extract, pumpkin spice, coconut sugar, pumpkin and coffee. Heat the ingredients for approximately 5 minutes or until the mixture is hot but not boiling.
While the coffee is heating gently, place a frothing pitcher over medium-high heat and add milk to it. Use the frother once the temperature reaches 1200 F. Take the pitcher off the heat and keep frothing until the temperature reaches 1600 F.
Move the frother in an up and down circular motion until you see around 2 inches of froth developing. Add the coffee mixture into two cups and add Canna Hemp™ oil as desired. With a spoon, hold back the foam and pour the hot milk into each cup. You must try to strike a 1:2 ratio of coffee to milk.
You can add the remaining foam to your cups using a spoon and finish with some freshly grated nutmeg to taste.
